Dorm room calculus pow-wows were a common occurence! Since then, I focused mainly on statistics and how analyses relate to real-world environmental management decisions in my graduate coursework and thesis. This work plus a variety of other research and field work experiences allow me to place many mathematical topics into an applied context. I love helping others learn, reach their highest potential, and understand how subjects like math and science can be useful in everyday life.
